What's in the water?
We'll let you read it directly from the sources.

In short, PFAS are forever chemicals that don't go away unless they are fully filtered out. It causes disease and cancers.
GenX are the byproduct chemicals from plants like Chemours. They are discharged into the ground and nearby rivers polluting the water at the source.
FAQ
TDS stands for Total Dissolved Solids. The accepted EPA regulation is between 0 and 300 parts per million (ppm). Most municipalities deliver water at around 200 ppm. So what's a good range that's safe? There's two parts to this answer with some examples.
Distilled water: 0 ppm
Mountain Spring water: 50 - 180 ppm
Accepted city potable water: 100 - 300 ppm
Your most positive water quality will be in the Mountain Spring range. This contains healthy minerals that your body deems essential for absorption. Distilled water is extremely pure but lacks the mineral content that is key to hydration nutrients you need.
The next part of the answer is actually answered by a question. If I have between 50 and 180 ppm, does that mean my water is still not clean as distilled water? The short answer is NO. TDS readings do not detect chemicals, PFAS's, nor GenX.
