My filter is turning brown. Why?Depending on what H2Go sends through the pipeline, sediment and materials are always in their system. This is also why we use clear housing filters. You can see what it being provided to you from your water company. Your first line of defense is your pre-filter. This removes the main portion of your sediments and chemicals being delivered to your home. If your filter turns brown before your scheduled maintenance, let us know. We're available for additional visits at a minimal cost.

What are TDS Readings?TDS stands for Total Dissolved Solids. The accepted EPA regulation is between 0 and 300 parts per million (ppm). Most municipalities deliver water at around 200 ppm. So what's a good range that's safe? There's two parts to this answer with some examples. Distilled water: 0 ppm Mountain Spring water: 50 - 180 ppm Accepted city potable water: 100 - 300 ppm Your most positive water quality will be in the Mountain Spring range. This contains healthy minerals that your body deems essential for absorption. Distilled water is extremely pure but lacks the mineral content that is key to hydration nutrients you need. The next part of the answer is actually answered by a question. If I have between 50 and 180 ppm, does that mean my water is still not clean as distilled water? The short answer is NO. TDS readings do not detect chemicals, PFAS's, nor GenX. Just like a reverse osmosis system, our Home Filtration strips your water of all impurities creating a continual water source that is healthy for your body.

I've noticed since I've moved to NC, my skin feels different. I can notice there's something in it.You are 100% correct! The chemicals and literal crap that's in the system is unhealthy. It's safe per some standards by the state but when your standards are low, your quality is low. You will feel the difference the first day. Your hair and skin feel clean. You can drink from the hose again :)

Is it safe to give to my pets?100% yes and highly recommended. Your pets are family too.

Where is the system installed? We'll come out and assess your home for the best location. Usually the garage is the most common place since that is where the water first enters your home. Everyone's home is different so we'll make sure it fits in the best spot possible. But just because it's different doesn't mean it costs more. You pay what your neighbor pays. If you have any questions, feel free to email, call or text us.
-
Are you a plumbing company? No we are not a plumbing company. We are solely a water filtration consulting company. We use certified installers for our systems.

-
Why is our system so much cheaper than the competition? Most companies have three things. Large overhead, markup a profit for parts and large labor costs for their business. How do you know what's in the water? We've done local testing even inside our own homes. PFAS's and GenX are present in the testing. After installation of the filtration system, the levels are almost non-traceable in the post-test results.
-
Will this system remove the GenX, PFOA's & PFAS's in my water?Yes! 99.9% of it will be removed. Why don't we say 100%? In every system we've installed and tested, it is 100% free of all Forever Chemicals. But because we can't control what 'new' chemicals they decide to add to our water without our knowledge, we can't predict the unknown.
-
Do you provide emergency services?Being a small business has its advantages and disadvantages. Unfortunately we do not provide emergency services. As of this fall (2024), our systems come with a standard bypass installed to allow the system to be isolated and water to your home remain on. If you have an issue or need for service, you can submit a ticket online.
